UEA Collaboration and first initial ideas

This unit started off with a new collaboration between UEA creative writing and NUA Illustration ( my course) . We were encouraged to come up with an initial idea of a character. As I have been working with the idea of the female image and of its impersonation in the past i ave decided that my character will be based on ongoing research and will be a building element to my practice.

My initial character was based on the idea of women being portrayed as object in today's society and the way our sexuality is disregarded as simply a material thing .

I have crated 3 different images according to the brief which symbolized the characteristic I was looking at. The objectification of sexuality. I used digital collage as it was an easy nice way to generate images representing my ideas.

The high exposure images are my personal choice as it turns human beings into surrealistic items we no longer associate with humanity.
